Siroki Brijeg is the economic, cultural, educational, religious, and adminstrative center rich in natural beauty and it is in the Western-hercegovenian district. It is located near the highway of Mostar-Split and is about 20km away from Mostar. Many roads, coming from many different directions, cross through Siroki Brijeg. With its multitude of ruins, it is obvious and unequivocally shown that this area was inhabited even before pre-historic times.
